Box Score A pair of 3-pointers by Will Jones to open the game propelled Monmouth to an early lead, but St. Norbert had the last say in handing the Scots a 75-47 loss in the Midwest Conference opener.

St. Norbert roared back after Monmouth took the early lead, hitting foru straight shots to vault to a 14-6 lead in the first five minutes of the game. A pair of Andrew Mathison free throws on his way to a 17-point night on 8-of-11 shooting pulled the Scots to within 21-16 with 10:33 left in the first half. The Green Knights then kept the Scots at arm's length and closed the half on an 8-0 run to take a 41-24 lead.

The Scots played even with the Knights for a large part of the second half, but couldn't make up the deficit.
