Box Score Monmouth stayed close at Coe but a second half surge propelled the Kohawks past the Scots 87-64.

The Kohawks were hot in their own gym, canning 34 of 53 shots from the floor and going on a 10-4 run early in the second half to open up a 58-44 lead. Monmouth briefly countered on a bucket by Andrew Mathison and a pair of free throws fromJon Calhoun.

Coe countered with back-to-back buckets and slowly pulled away down the stretch.

Will Jones led three Scots in double figures with 14 points, Ben Friday added 13 and Calhoun chipped in 12.
