Box Score Double overtime wasn't enough to decide Monmouth's battle at St. Norbert, closing out 110 minutes in a 2-2 stalement.

Both teams scored in the first 20 minutes. Jake Cogan deposited Justin Seeley's pass into the back of net in the 15th minute to give Monmouth a quick 1-0 lead, but the Green Knights answered less than five minutes later.

The Scots again scored quickly in the second half as Daniel Guzman fed Byrce Adams for a score inside the first minute of play. Monmouth's 2-1 lead wha short-lieved when St. Norbert knotted the score at 2-2 inthe 53rd minute.

The defenses took it from there as neither team could find the game-winner the rest of the way.

Luke Cogan turned aside 10 shots as the Knights ripped off 26 attempts, but only put 12 on goal.

Monmouth plays at Ripon Sunday at 11 a.m.
