Box Score Monmouth contained 17^th-ranked Lake Forest at bay for the first half, but eventually fell 5-0 to the Foresters.
 
Lake Forest fired off 11 first half shots, but only one slipped past Monmouth goal keeper Nicole Neagle. Monmouth's defense eventually succumbed in the second half, surrendering four goals over the final 35 minutes. Kristen Giondi worked the final 26 minutes, stopping three of the four shots she faced.
