Box Score A slow first half kept Monmouth from handing St. Norbert their first league loss as the Scots fell to the Green Knights 81-58.

St. Norbert used a 15-5 run over a three minute span late in the first half to open up a double-digit lead. The Scots had led just briefly in the first half when Ben Friday scored in the paint, but the Knights finished the first half hitting their final two shots to take a 45-27 lead.

Monmouth heated up in the second half, but couldn't dig out of their first half hole despite hitting exactly half their shots and holding the Knights to 39 percent shooting in the last half.

Cole Jackson led the Scots with 12 points.
