After the Scots' Ace Henricks hit a 33-yard field goal at the start of the second half, the Rams reeled off 20 unanswered points, scoring the winning touchdown with 40 seconds left.
The teams had traded first quarter field goals before Trey Yocum raced 11 of his 192 yards for the Scots first TD of the day. Brik Wedekind then hit C.J. Shields for a 24-yard scoring pass as the Scots posted a pair of second quarter TDs.
Leading 20-16 with 6:30 left in the game, the Scots engineered a 10-play, 36-yard drive to reach the Rams' one-yard line. Cornell's defense held on three straight downs, forcing the Scots to settle for a 20-yard field goal attempt. When the kick sailed wide right, the Rams gained possession at their own 20 and drove 80 yards for the winning score.
