Box Score Monmouth battled back from an early deficit, but fell to Central at home 2-1.

Central's Aleksandar Glavas ripped the first goal from 30 yards out in the 10^th minute before the teams locked in a defensive battle. Monmouth evened the score in the 46^th minute when Isaac Hernandez found Chizobam Nkemeh open for his second goal of the season.

The Dutch found the game-winner in the 60^th minute on an unassisted goal from Dillon Thornbury.

Monmouth opens Midwest Conference play this weekend, hosting St. Norbert and Ripon.
