Box Score Monmouth fell victim to frigid shooting in an 82-45 loss to Carroll.
 
The Scots hit just seven of their 25 first half shots led just one in the first 20 minutes when Mike DeDecker’s 3-pointer put Monmouth ahead 4-2 two minutes into the game. The Scots didn’t score over the next six minutes while the pioneers were building a 14-point lead.
 
The shooting woes continued in the second half when Monmouth hit eight of 28 attempts. Wes Dukeman provided a bright spot, sinking six of his 10 field goals to finish with a game-high 18 points.
