Box Score Monmouth never led in an 88-73 loss to Warburg, their first contest since Dec. 19.

The Knights jumped out to an 8-0 lead and never trailed in handing the Scots just their third loss of the season. Katie Houston's jumper with 12:47 left in the first half knotted the game at 12-12 for the first of four ties in the contest.

Trailing 43-37 at the half, Monmouth opened strong after the break, hitting three of their first four shots. A KIm Coleman jumper just two minutes into the second half pulled the Scots to within two at 45-43, but the Scots would get no closer as Wartburg countered with a 15-7 run over the next six minutes to take a double digit lead.

Marla Willard poured in a game-high 20 points to lead three Scots in double figures.
