Box Score Knox scored the game's first two points, but it was all Monmouth after that in a 102-83 win over the Prairie Fire.

Paige Nord's jumper following an opening bucket by the Fire's Molly Lascelles got the ball rolling for the Scots who opened the game on a 12-2 run. Monmouth took a 23-point first half lead when Kim Coleman's bucket made it 42-19 with 5:39 left in the half. The Fire then got hot and cut the deficit to 11 by halftime.

Knox cut the game to single digits at 51-42 with a bucket on their first possession of the second half, but like the first half, the Scots responded and took a 23-point lead at 67-44 on another Nord jumper to complete a 16-2 run to open the final 20 minutes. Monmouth's lead never dipped below 18 points the rest of the way as the Scots held Knox to 32 percent shooting.

Marla Willard's 17 points paced six Scots in double figures. Jacquice Cooper added a double-double with a 15-point, 14-rebound night.
