Box Score Monmouth improved to 3-0 on the season with a 74-57 road win over Benedictine.

The Fighting Scots held Benedictine to just six of 27 shooting in the first half to take a 38-22 lead at intermission. Monmouth built the lead to as much as 27 points in the second half while hitting nearly 90 percent fromthe free throw line.

Marla Willard posted her second double-double, pouring in 20 points to go with 13 rebounds. Kaley Corban added 15 points for the Scots who open Midwest Conference play at home Saturday against Ripon.
