Cold shooting sinks Scots in opener

Box Score Monmouth couldn't overcome a cold shooting night at Glennie Gym in a 74-63 season-opening loss to Central.

The Scots hit just 25 of 79 shots, but got a double-double from Ben Friday who poured in 21 points on 10-of-15 shooting and pulled down 13 rebounds.
