Box Score Monmouth scored quickly but fell to Illinois College 2-1 at Peacock Park.

Chizobam Nkemeh broke free and scored on a one-on-one chance in the second minute of the game to give the Fighting Scots a quick 1-0 lead. Illinois College answered 27 minutes later when Frrankie Copado took a Jordan Blair feed and slipped it past Scots' keeper Matt Schmidt to knot the game at 1-1.

The teams played nearly even for the remainder of the match, but a Penalty Kick by IC's Josue Hernandez in the 54th minute turned out to be the winner.
