Box Score Monmouth hit over half their shots and never trailed in an 81-48 win over Central.
The Fighting Scots hit 18 of their 30 first half shots and outscored the Dutch 20-12 in a five minute span to open a 39-19 lead with 4:40 left in the first half. Monmouth hit six straight shots during the run and as Kaley Corban and Paige Nord each had 11 points by halftime.
Another big run in the second half saw the Scots increase the lead when Nord’s 3-poiner started a six minute stretch when the Scots poured on 18 points to their lead, jumping ahead 72-34 with 10:08 left. Monmouth was able to maintain the margin when they cleared their bench in the final minutes of the contest to run to an 11-1 record.
Nord finished with a game-high 14 points.
