Tanner Tomaschke joined the Scots football staff in January 2026 as a linebackers coach. A former Fighting Scots All-Conference linebacker, Tomaschke returned to Monmouth after serving as the Strength and Conditioning Grad Assistant at his hometown Greenville University.Â
A 2023 Monmouth graduate with a degree in Kinesiology, Tomaschke was a two-time captain as linebacker for the Fighting Scots. He played 27 games over three seasons with 178 tackles, 20 TFL, three sacks, two interceptions and three forced fumbles. He was All-Conference in both 2022 and 2023.Â
A native of Greenville, Illinois and a graduate of Bond County Unit #2, Tomaschke lives in Monmouth with his wife and their three cats, chicken, meatball, and macaroni.
