Coach Baker joined the Scots as an assistant coach in January 2022, just a few months after graduating from Monmouth College with a degree in exercise science.
As a coach, Baker helped the Scots to the women's 2022 Midwest Conference Outdoor Championship.
A native of Aledo, Illinois, she excelled in multiple sports at Mercer County High School. At Monmouth, Baker was an All-American in the 200m in 2021 with a career-best time of 24.38. She was the 2021 Midwest Conference Southern Division Track Performer of the Year after winning the 100m, 200m and 4x400m relay as Monmouth won the team title.
Baker also ran on the victorious 4x200m relay team at the 2019 MWC Indoor Championships. She ranks in the top 10 in school history in the 60m (7.94), 100m (12.16), 200m outdoor (24.38) and 200m indoor (26.10).
Baker lives on a farm in Aledo with her boyfriend Austin. They raise show pigs and dachshunds as their favorite hobbies.
