Chris Allen

Chris Allen joined the Fighting Scots football team as the quarterbacks & special teams coach in January 2026. 

Allen previously worked at North Central College as a graduate assistant wide receivers coach for the 2024 and 2025 seasons. They Cardinals won the Division III National Championship his first season and finished runner up in second season in Naperville. At NCC Allen coached six All-Conference wide receivers and Thomas Skokna was  named All-American. 

Allen started his coaching career in the FCS at Yale. With the Bulldogs he was a quality control coach working with special teams and linebackers while also leading the winter workout program. During his stint with Yale, the Bulldogs won the Ivy League in 2023. 

Allen played quarterback for Oberlin College (Ohio) with 28 games played. He ranks second in single-season passing yards and also ranks top five on the Yeomen's career list for passing yards (4871), completions (466) and touchdowns (35). Allen also joined the Oberlin basketball team as a senior and appeared in 17 games. 

A native of Winslow Township, New Jersey, Allen was a two-year starter at St. Augustine Prep in Richland, N.J where he also played basketball. 

Allen graduated from Oberlin College in 2023 with a B.A. in Psychology with an Education Concentration. He earnes a masters at North Central College in 2026 in Sports Leadership. Allen currently lives in Monmouth.
