Lucas Henderson

Lucas Henderson was selected as the fifth head coach in the history of Monmouth’s women’s soccer program in December of 2020.
 
Henderson came to Monmouth after becoming the inaugural women’s head coach at Bryant and Stratton College (Wis.) in 2017 and building the program from the ground up. Henderson guided the upstart NJCAA Division II program to a 14-10-1 record in two seasons with two NJCAA playoff appearances. The Bobcats earned nine All-Region selections, two All-American nominees and two Academic All-Americans under Henderson.
 
A goalkeeper by trade, Henderson has extensive coaching experience from the youth to semi-professional ranks. He's trained goalkeepers for WPSL and NPSL side Milwaukee Torrent and served as the Director of Goalkeeper for Milwaukee Kickers, Lakeshore United and Lakeville SC.
 
Henderson has a bachelor's degree in history from UW-Eau Claire and a masters in sport management from UW-Parkside
 
The Sheboygan, Wis., native is a fan of all Wisconsin sports and an avid Manchester United supporter.  He and wife Allie reside in Davenport, Iowa and their daughter Monroe.
