Katy Rees ('16) enters her fifth season as and assistant coach with the Fighting Scots in 2020 after moving from the pitch to the coaching ranks in 2016. A four-year member of the team, the former center midfielder brings an intimate knowledge of the Midwest Conference to the bench.
A Bolingbrook, Il. native, Rees graduated from Monmouth College in 2016 with a degree in Public Relations and helped the Scots to three of their four NSCAA Academic Team awards.
Rees is pursuing her Master's Degree in Sport Management at Western Illinois University where she works as the External Relations Graduate Assistant for the WIU Athletic Department.
