Addy Williams joined the Monmouth College softball program as an Assistant Coach in August of 2024. Before coming to Monmouth, Williams was a Strength and Conditioning Coach for the 2023-24 season with the Spoon River College Snappers softball program, where she first started her own collegiate softball career.

A native of Cuba, Illinois, Williams played four years for the North Fulton Wildcats co-op. She was a three-time Prairieland and ICAC all-conference selection and helped North Fulton to their first ever IHSA Class 1A state tournament in the 2018 season where she led the team in hits, runs, RBI, and a batting average of .446 as a junior. The Wildcats ended that season with an 18-4 record. Williams also earned IHSA All-State honors her final two years playing for North Fulton.

Williams continued her academic and athletic career at Spoon River College for three seasons playing softball for the Snappers. In her final season she was named Honorable Mention All-Conference as an OF, an All-Region player and a Region 24 All-Tournament Team selection. She also earned 1st Team Academic honors all three years. Williams still holds a top ten season record in walks with 23 (2021), runs with 53 (2022), and a batting average of .419 (2022). Her career records make the board as well, sitting at 99 runs scored, and a .389 batting average in her three years played. Her final season also included the Snappers as Conference Champions in 2022 while also making it to the Region’s tournament which had not been achieved since 1978.

Williams then transferred to Kansas Wesleyan University where she played her final softball season before receiving her degree. She earned her Associate in Arts at Spoon River in 2022, and graduated with her Bachelor’s of Science from Western Illinois University in 2024, majoring in Psychology, with a minor in Mental Health, and a focus in substance abuse counseling.

Williams resides in Macomb, IL with her dog Otis. She enjoys traveling, working out, and spending quality time with family and friends.
