The season-ending SLIAC golf championships wrapped up on Tuesday with Monmouth sophomore Ryan Prusak (Oswego, Illinois) finished in a tie for 8th place at 26-over par. The performance earned Prusak a Second-Team All-Conference honor with the top 10 finish. 

Prusak shot an 82 in the first round Monday and a 77 in the second. He finished with an 80 on Tuesday to cement his finish in the top 10. 

As a team the Scots finished in 8th place with a 1046 combined score. Noah Shields (Rantoul, Illinois) finished in a tie for 39th while Ben Dobberstein (Oswego, Illinois)and Jimmy Johnson (Andalusia, Illinois) both finished tied for 44th. Jakob Brokaw (Andalusia, Illinois) was 46th. Shields (83) and Johnson (87) saved their best rounds for Tuesday's final 18. 

Justin McCoy of Webster University won the event at +5 and Webster won their fourth straight SLIAC title with a team score of 909. 

The women's SLIAC golf championships are this weekend in Jacksonville, Illinois with Monmouth's Morgan Bemis (Alton, Illinois) competing on Saturday and Sunday.
