The Monmouth College cross country teams ran in the Brissman-Lundeen Invitational on Friday, hosted by Augustana College at Saukie Golf Course in Rock Island, Illinois. The men's race included 340 runners from 23 different schools while the women's race consisted of 297 runners from 21 schools.
The men finished 18th as a team, led by
Riley Dulin (Monmouth, Illinois) who finished 35th, covering the 8K-course in 26:21.9.
Will Plumley (Geneseo, Illinois) was next for the Scots at 28:36.1 while
Jonah Cecil (Farmington, Illinois) ran 28:46.8.
Eli Newton (Dallas City, Illinois) finished in 28:51.9 while
Neo Colter (Geneseo, Illinois) was the fifth Scots runner to score points as he crossed the line in 29:16.1.

In the women's race, the Scots finished 14th as a team, led by
Arika Hofmann (Monmouth, Illinois). She ran the 6K-course in 24:28 to finish 56th while
Ezzie Baltierra-Chavez (Denver, Colorado) was right behind her at 24:32.8.
Kara Fisher (Monmouth, Illinois) ran 25:09 with
Mik Moore (Washington, Illinois) finished in 25:16.7. The fifth Scots runner to score points was
Gabriela Peterson (Southwick, Massachusetts) as she finished in 26:14.4.
