Monmouth outshot Buena Vista 25-4 and outscored the Beavers 4-1, notching back-to-back road wins to improve to 3-0-1 on the young season.
 
Erica Bossard took a Jacie Reis pass and delivered it in the back of the net for a quick lead just 95 seconds into the game. Fourteen minutes later, Makayla Shaw fed Jordyn Gosell for another goal as the Scots fired off 13 shots in the first half. A Yari Aguado goal with help from Brie Stumbo gave Monmouth a comfortable lead as the first half wound down.
 
The Scots fired off another dozen shots in the second half, scoring in the 63^rd minute when Devin Cross took a Mikayla McCart pass and slipped it past the BVU 'keeper for the Scots' final goal. Buena Vista scored in the 84^th minute, but found the deficit too great.
 
Monmouth returns home to host Webster University in a noon start on Saturday.
