For the ninth time in program history, the Monmouth College women's soccer team didn't allow a single shot, posting a 5-0 win over Rockford in Friday's season opener at Peacock Memorial Athletic Park.

Three-time all-conference selection
Kara-Jade Gordon notched the only goal the Scots would need in the 12
th minute, beating a defender and ripping the shot past the Regents' goalkeeper.
Jacie Reis – last season's leading scorer – fed
Erica Bossard six minutes later for an insurance goal to start a four goal outburst over the next six minutes.

Jodyn Gossell tacked on another tally on a feed from
Katlyn Selvig while Reis collected a score of her own and
Sam Koppers closed out the barrage with an unassisted goal in the 24
th minute to close out the scoring on the night.
