th career win.
Zelinda Taylor then held off the Prairie Fire for a 9-5 win in the nightcap.

Alison Trettin homer. Hippen fanned six and scattered four hits to lower her ERA to 1.20.

The Scots scored seven runs in the first two innings of the nightcap to back
Zelinda Taylor for her second win of the season. Leading 6-4 in the fourth, the Scots tacked on three more runs, pounding out four hits and taking advantage of a Knox error.
Cassidy Abbott led the offense in Game 2 with a 3-for-4 effort at the plate while driving in three runs.

The Scots are off until next Friday when they travel to Central before opening a two game home stand the next day.
