Box Score Monmouth fired off 40 shots and jumped out to a 4-0 halftime lead on the way to a 6-0 blanking of Blackburn.

Makayla Shaw fired in the Scots' first net-finder in the 10th minute and five minutes later Hannah Kugler added another. Kara-Jade Gordon - who assisted on Kugler's goal - scored her first of two in the 22nd minute. The Scots added a fourth goal on Jacie Reis' first of two tallies just before halftime.

Nicole Neagle picked up the win in goal, playing the first 60 minutes before being relieved by Abbie Borscheidt. Monmouth's defense held the Beavers to just two shots on goal.

The Scots travel to Principia Saturday for a 3:30 p.m. start.
