Box Score Just one goal was all it took Saturday afternoon when Monmouth hosted Knox for Family Weekend at Monmouth's Peacock Memorial Athletic Park.
 
Monmouth outshot Knox 13-12, but the Prairie Fire punched in the game's lone goal in the 11^th minute to defeat their rivals. It was nearly as even in goal where the Scots' Kensey Arlt turned aside seven shots and the Fire's Sierra Daniger recorded seven saves – three off the foot of the Scot's Kara-Jade Gordon who put three of her four shots on goal. The Scots had a pair of scoring chances in the game's final three minutes, but the shots sailed high and wide.
 
The Scots travel to Cornell for another Midwest Conference matchup Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. and return home to host Illinois College Saturday at 1 p.m.
