Monmouth couldn't swim out of an early hole in the season opener, dropping the first game of the season to McKendree 14-8.
Led by
Jake Hall's three, fourth quarter goals, the Scots scored four unanswered goals, coming back from a 13-3 deficit. Hall's finished with a four-goal game, netting his final two in the last 90 seconds.
McKendree had scored the first five goals of the contest and went on to take a 9-2 lead at the half.
Monmouth returns to action next weekend at the Washington and Jefferson Tournament.
