Monmouth had taken a 2-0 lead in Game 1 with a solo run in the fourth and another in the sixth as
Liz Hippen kept the Green Knights from posting a serious threat through six innings. The Knights broke through with two outs in the seventh, scoring six runs – just two earned – to take the lead. The Scots staged a rally in the bottom of the inning when
Laura Dulee led off with her second hit of the game and Gallis followed with a homerun – her third in three games. Trailing 6-4, Monmouth went on to load the bases before St. Norbert induced a game ending ground out.

St. Norbert put up four runs in the first inning of Game 2 and banged out six hits in the game en route to the 6-1 win. Starter
Zelinda Taylor settled in after the opening inning, allowing just two runs the rest of the way. Gallis and
Carolyn Scherpe supplied the Monmouth offense in the fifth when Scherpe led off the inning with her second hit of the game and Gallis' double brought Scherpe home.
