Box Score 2 Monmouth rebounded with a solid performance in the second game of Thursday's twinbill with Lebanon Valley College in Clermont, Fla. After dropping the opener 8-0, the Scots broke through with a 3-2 win in the nightcap.

The Dutchmen took advantage of a pair of four-run innings in Game 1 while holding the Scots to just three hits. LVC got on the board in the third, scoring three unearned runs with two outs to take a 4-0 lead. They iced the game with four more in the fifth.
