Box Score With a Midwest Conference Tournament berth sewn up last week, Monmouth met Grinnell with the Pioneers' postseason hopes in the balance.

 The Scots will enter the tournament as the fourth seed after Grinnell notched a 1-0 win over the Scots in Iowa. Grinnell scored the game's loan goal inthe 34th minute in the evenly matched contest. EAch team fired off 10 shots, Monmouth with seven in the second half.

The loss moved Grinnell into the third seed for next weekend's championships and places Monmouth fourth. The official pairings will be announced later today.
