Box Score Monmouth's back line held strong through the rain and wind as the Scots force a shutout, sinking the Buccaneers 2-0.

Sophomore forward Kara-Jade Gordon broke the early tie in the 22' minute, taking the ball the distance to score. Then, with time dwindling in the first half, Lily Lindner found Jacie Reis for the Scots second score.

Freshman keeper Kensey Arlt posted four huge stops as the Scots weather seven Beloit corner kicks. The Scots improve to 9-6 overall (4-2 MWC).

Monmouth will wrap up its Midwest Conference double-header weekend at Lake Forest College tomorrow afternoon.
