Monmouth set the program record for wins after
Charlotte Park stroked a walkoff double in Game 1 and
Kaylee Kurtz tossed a four-hitter in Game 2 of a 5-4, 10-1 sweep of Augustana, giving the Scots their 23rd win of the season, the most in program history.

Augustana touched Game 1 starter
Liz Hippen for three first inning runs and added another in the second for a quick 4-0 lead. The Scots answered in the second inning when Hippen's ground out plated pinch runner
Kirsti Barton to cut the margin to three at 4-1. A two-run homer by
Michaela Guthrie inched the Scots closer and an RBI single in the fifth by
Johnna Schultz tied the game at 4-4.

Knotted at 4-4 in the bottom of the ninth,
Kirstyn Ozga led off with her third single of the game. Ozga was still at first with two outs when Park drove a pitch into right field, doubling home Ozga with the winning run to give Hippen her 11
th win, one shy of the single season record.

Kayle Kurtz tossed a four-hitter in the Game 2, five inning win. Monouth banged out nine hits in the contest and broke the game open with an eight-run fourth. Schultz stroked two doubles in the inning, driving in three with her second two-bagger as Monmouth sent 12 batters to the plate.

Ozga finished the day 4-for-6 with four runs scored while Schultz led the team with four RBIs.
