Box Score Alex  Izquierdo scored the only goal Monmouth would need in an 8-0 win over Rockford in the Fighting Scots' season finale.
 
Izquierdo's goal in the sixth minute set the tone early for the Scots who took a 3-0 halftime lead on subsequent goals from Rachael Leifheit and Jacie Rees as the Scots fired off 21 first half shot, putting eight on goal.
 
Monmouth added to the scoring when the Scots' scoring leader – Kara-Jade Gordon – scored a pair of goals in a four minute span early in the second half. Izquierdo and Darice Brooks teamed for the assist on Gordon's first goal, a cross through the box. Brooks got in on the scoring, slapping an unassisted goal into the net just 25 seconds after Gordon's second score.
 
Senior Andrea Correa ended her career with her second goal of the season and the 15^th of her career. Hannah Lingle rounded out the Monmouth scoring with a tally in the 74^th minute.
 
The Scots outshot Rockford 45-2 as Rhemintin Rexrode came off the bench to record the Scots' lone save in the second half.
