Box Score Monmouth fired off 33 shots, but only needed one to go in during a 2-0 win at Lawrence Saturday afternoon.

Darice Brooks placed two of the Scots' 17 shots on goal in the net to break a two-game slide. Brooks put in what proved to be the game winner in the 13th minute on an unassisted score and nailed an insurance goal in the 70th minute.

After firing off 14 first half shots, the Scots ramped up the pressure in the second half, drilling 19 more attempts as the Vikigns' keeper turned aside 15 shots. Brooks put a game-high six of her eight shots on goal.

Monmouth wraps up their home season Sat., Oct. 29 at 2:30 pm with Grinnell.
