Box Score Monmouth scored a pair of goals in the first 10 minutes, but Beloit countered to edge the Scots 4-3 at Peacock Park Saturday afternoon.
 
The Bucs scored first, but Alex Izquierdo knotted the game with an unassisted goal in the 10^th minute just 20 seconds before Darice Brooks gave Monmouth a 2-1 lead. Beloit inched ahead with a pair of goals before halftime as the teams combined for 15 first half shots.
 
The Scots knotted the game in the 50^th minute when Izquierdo fed Kelsi Smith for her second goal of the season. Beloit again answered and took the lead for good off a corner kick goal in the 60^th minute.
 
Monmouth hosts Lake Forest Sunday in a 3:30 p.m. matchup at Peacock.
