Box Score Monmouth turned on the offense in the second half to roll to a 3-0 win over Blackburn Tuesday afternoon.
 
After a scoreless first half, the Scots' Katy Rees took a feed from Megan Altfillisch and deposited it in the back of the net for a 1-0 lead just seven minutes into the second half. That turned out to be all the scoring the Scots would need as Monmouth's defense held the Beavers to just two shots on goal and four overall.
 
Allie DeArvil found Natalite Wolski for an insurance score in the 67^th minute and Darice Brooks added a tally on a Penalty Kick with less than a minute to play.
 
The Scots peppered the Blackburn keeper with 19 shots on goal and 44 shots overall, the fourth-highest total in program history.
