Box Score Monmouth evened their Midwest Conference record at 2-2 after a 1-0 win over Ripon Sunday at Peacock Memorial Athletic Park.
 
An aggressive first half from the Fighting Scots gave them all the scoring they would need when Megan Altfillisch scored in the 22nd minute. Altfillisch corralled a loose ball and drilled the shot into the back of the net to give the Scots a 1-0 lead on their fifth shot of the game.  The Fighting Scots managed to intercept multiple goal kicks, keeping most of their attack on the Red Hawks defensive end of the pitch.
 
The Scots continued their aggressive play in the second half, but this time on the defensive end of the field after continually turning away all 10 Red Hawks' shots. With under two minutes remaining, the Red Hawks managed to push the ball into the Fighting Scots defensive zone, but to no avail as the Scot' defense held.
