Women fall in overtime in suburban Chicago

Box Score Monmouth scored the first and last goals of regulation, but Benedictine netted the game-winner in overtime as the Scots fell 3-2 in Naperville.
 
Unique Manns hit Lauren Kellen with a scoring pass in the 20th minute to give the Scots and early lead, but Benedictine answered with the tying goal just two minutes later. The Eagles punched in the go-ahead goal in the 26thminute before the Scots clamped down and went into halftime trailing 2-1.
 
The Scots' Allie DeArvil netted the tying goal with an unassisted score in the 56th minute, eventually sending the match into overtime. Benedictine slipped a shot past goalkeeper Nicole Neagle for the winner six minutes into the extra session.
