Box Score Lauren Kellen added to her career goal-scoring record, but it wasn't enough as Monmouth fell in their season opener 2-1 at Culver-Stockton.
 
Becca Schmidt fed Kellen in the 36^th minute for the game's first score as the Scots took a 1-0 lead into halftime. Stockton answered just three minutes into the second half to knot the score at 1-1. The Scots went down when Culver logged the go-ahead goal five minutes later.
 
Culver outshot Monmouth 20-5, putting 11 shots on goal.
