Box Score Two freshmen scored the goalls in Monmouth's 2-1 overtime win at Lawrence Saturday.

Upperclassmen Lauren Kellen and Alex Ivie put together a pair of passes as newcomer Andrea Correa scored the game's first goal inteh 34th minute to give Monmouth a 1-0 halftime lead. Lawrence rebounded with a game-tying goal just three minutes into the second half as the teams battled the remaining half dead even.

Rookies Kelsi Smith and Unique Manns then teamed up for the game-winner in overtime. Less than four minutes into the extra session, Smith finished off a Manns' pass to earn the Scots the win and move to 3-0 in the Midwest Conference. One week ago to the day, Correa had scored the game-winner in overtime in the Scots' league-opening win over St. Norbert.
