Box Score It took more than 98 minutes, but the Monmouth College women's soccer team opener their Midwest Conference season with a 4-3 win over St. Norbert in overtime.

After the Scots' Allie DeArvil took a feed from goalkeeper Samantha Barranco and scored in the fourth minute of the game, the two teams played nearly even for 90 minutes. St. Norbert's Shannon Jung knotted the game midway through the first half.

Monmouth's Lauren Kellen then scored her first of two goals on the day, just three minutes into the second half. The Knights' Katie Vanden Avond responded with a pair of goals – her 12th and 13th of the year – to give St. Norbert their first lead of the game.

St. Norbert's lead was short-lived when Kellen knocked in her 10th goal this season, tying the game at 3-3 in the 58th minute.

Monmouth picked up the win on an Andrea Correa goal in the 98th minute.
